A commitment of principle, never of circumstance
In a political landscape where allegiances are negotiated, Jean Thierry Monsenepwo claims constancy as his first virtue. His membership in the Union sacrée de la Nation, alongside President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, is neither circumstantial nor opportunistic: it stems from a deep conviction that the DRC needs strong institutions, a consolidated State and a nation united against external aggression.

The fight against corruption and anti-values
Ambassador of the Innovation and Mindset Change Unit (CICM) since September 2024, he has made the fight against corruption, impunity and tribalism a personal battle. On Radio Okapi as in his op-eds, he tirelessly advocates for a culture of accountability. A defender of the independence of oversight bodies, he publicly stood up for the General Inspectorate of Finance, recalling that "financial oversight is not a witch hunt; it is a sovereign mission of the State."
Defending the Republic against rebellions
Faced with the aggression suffered by the DRC in its eastern region, Jean Thierry Monsenepwo has chosen firmness. In his op-eds, he denounces the crimes committed in Kishishe and Saké and defends the Head of State's peace strategy, calling him the "Peacemaker of Central Africa." In April 2026, he went a step further by initiating a bill barring access to certain public offices for individuals who participated in armed rebellions.

Solidarity and social entrepreneurship
Beyond words, commitment is measured in deeds. Through the La Colombe cooperative, he finances the projects of young Congolese entrepreneurs. Through COBIL SA, he supported the historic fuel price drop of October 2024, which he hailed as "a major social gesture" demonstrating "the State's continued commitment to improving the lives of the Congolese people."
